FOSSILISED is a unique series of sculptures celebrating and re-creating the fantastic 70's spacecraft of British science fiction artists
Colin Hay, Peter Elson, Tony Roberts and others.

These enigmatic and outlandish visions hark back to a bygone future of technicolour hardware and alien familiarity. From a true golden age of British science fiction illustration, many featured on book covers from authors such as AE van Vogt and James Blish, or in the TTA series of space books by Stewart Cowley throughout the seventies. Crab claws meet supertankers in brash checks and stripes. Alien markings hint at civilisations impossibly remote yet strangely familiar. The bastard sons of NASA and JCB; advanced technology mated with heavy engineering.

These spaceship replicas are individually hand crafted by myself, measuring between two to four feet in length, and stand on a custom base bearing the original artist's name and title. Each is fully approved and exclusively licensed from the original artist, and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
